Blast off!

After two nights of staying up until 6 am I finally got the experience that I was hoping for. Seeing that shuttle light up the night sky and everything around it like it was noon and and not 4 am, was just amazing. I do not think that words can truly describe seeing that event in person. I am so happy that I went and would stay up for 3 days straight to see this happen again. Too bad that this was the last night launch for the shuttle, it was may first and my last. Anyways, I tried to take a good photo, this being my first time experiencing a night launch from less than twelve miles away, I had no idea what to expect. I had no idea it would be as bright as it was, But thank God I had my aperture at f/22. The exposure was 326 seconds long at f/22 ISO 200.

Thanks to everyone who steered me in the right direction!
Here is the photo I took of the last night launch of space shuttle endeavour.
